You’ve been taking advice from people who are naturally in shape, don’t understand YOUR lifestyle or haven’t lost a significant amount of weight. These are some TRUTHS about sustainable fat loss. But that doesn’t mean you can’t work through them. They require a STRATEGY! 1. Hunger can come with a deficit. You’re eating less than your body needs to maintain its current weight, so some hunger is NORMAL. Solution: high-protein, high-volume meals you actually enjoy & can stick to that help keep you full & satisfied. You shouldn’t be suffering through your deficit. 2. Cravings are going to happen. There is a time & place to enjoy that specific craving, but if it’s EVERY time “something sounds good,” it’ll be hard to drive results. Solution: creative recipes, high-protein eating & a nutrition plan that makes room for your favorite foods. Learn how to fit them in without letting every craving run the show. Drop “COOKBOOK” & I’ll send you my 200+ recipe cookbook 👩🏻‍🍳 3. Slow = fast. Progress is going to feel “slow” & like “nothing is changing,” but you keep quitting WHILE things are working! It’s not “I only lost a pound.” It’s “I LOST A POUND!”Stop dismissing your progress because it’s not happening as fast as you wanted. Give yourself the chance to see what happens when you KEEP GOING. 4. There is no such thing as “messing up” when it’s BUILT INTO YOUR PLAN. Enjoying your weekends, a drink, vacation, going out to eat… NONE of those things are “messing up” when they’re PLANNED FOR! And when something unplanned happens? You get back to your next meal. You don’t have to throw in the entire week. You need a plan that supports your LIFE, not one that works only when life is “easy.” Drop “CONFIDENCE” if you’d like my 1-1 help losing the weight & learning how to keep it off for GOOD! 🫶🏼

This season, many of the designers showing at London Fashion Week seemed to want to remind us of one thing: humans made these clothes. It was an idea placed front and center at the Steve O Smith show — which wasn’t a show at all, but a seminar, delivered by Smith himself to 20 or so fashion editors and journalists in a cozy drawing room at the Royal Academy of Arts. At @labrumlondon, before guests even saw the clothes on the runway, they got to meet the hands that helped make them. “People don’t understand how things are made and where they’re from,” founder @iamfods said after the show. “That’s why we wanted to put it at the forefront and celebrate it.” Currently it’s taken for granted that some person, either with a needle or a sewing machine, made what you are wearing — whether they were paid fairly or worked in safe conditions is less certain. But who knows how much longer that human touch will be guaranteed. AI, which has steadily infiltrated design workflows over the last few years, is now being developed by robotics companies to take on more physical tasks like pattern cutting, sewing and quality inspection in countries like South Korea. When asked whether he thought about AI’s impact on the fashion industry, Dumbuya replied “100%.” “I don’t buy AI,” he continued. “The moment we kill that human interaction, we’re gone.” Read more at the link in our bio. 📸: Leah Dolan/CNN; Steve O Smith; Pauline Dujancourt
