I have such a soft spot for little grocery stores in chinatown 🥺 I first went to bangkok center grocery because I wanted to make a thai dish and couldn’t find all the ingredients. The owner was so sweet and helped me find everything I needed. Since then, whenever I’m missing a dish from home, I’ll go in and ask him what to get or how to make it. So far we’ve made larb, yum woon sen, taro sticky rice and more :’) Then I realized they didn’t have a website so I asked if I could make them one for free. As a thai girlie, this one feels extra special to me and I really wanted to do a good job! I’ve been building it with @lovable.dev #lovablepartner and trying to keep all the character that made me love the store in the first place. If you’re in nyc, go visit “bangkok center grocery” in chinatown!! They have so many thai ingredients that are genuinely hard to find anywhere else 🇹🇭 now I just have to show him the website

these are soft, chewy, lightly sweet, and made with greek yogurt + oat flour. no fancy ingredients, no complicated steps, just a really good cookie that happens to have a little more going for it. and if you want to make them sugar-free, swap the maple syrup for a zero-sugar maple syrup and use sugar-free chocolate chips. if your sweetener doesn’t add the same amount of liquid as maple syrup, add a splash of milk until the dough reaches a scoopable consistency. P.S. who remembers my red hair?! dEATS: -Preheat the oven to 350ºF. -Combine ½ cup greek yogurt, ⅓ cup maple syrup, 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1 egg. -Add in 1 ½ cup oat flour, ½ tsp baking powder, and ¼ tsp salt. -Fold in ⅓ cup chocolate chips of choice. -Scoop onto a parchment lined baking pan. -Bake for 9-11 minutes. -Top with flaky salt and enjoy!

Playboi Carti was actually in the studio with Frank Ocean when he recorded Nights. In 2015, Carti began making noise in the underground through cult hits like Broke Boi, Fetti, and Beef. Around the same time, Frank Ocean was secretly working on Blonde, using the budget his label gave him for Endless to perfect his magnum opus. Carti linked up with Frank during a session in which he was working on Nights, and Frank seemingly shouted him out by his real name on an early demo: “Black Adonis on the diving board, gainers only, I’m bringing Guinness, Jordan’s floatin on the deep end of the pool.” A few months after the release of Blonde, Carti confirmed that he was in the studio when Frank made Nights, and that it’s his favorite song to drive around to. “I was in the studio when he made that, that’s my favorite song. Like, the second part of the song…I like, rewind that sh*t back. We worked on some music in New York, actually. He’s very talented, man, that man was doing everything in the studio. He really work with instruments and sh*t, like, it’s crazy. He really showed me, like, a new type of style. We did like 5 songs, and it’s Frank, you know, so, he move how he move, you never know what he on.” It’s clear that Frank Ocean has been a huge creative influence for Carti, particularly in his album world-building and elusiveness as an artist.
