Sometimes I am lucky enough to be invited to go to a beautiful place, with beautiful people. It’s a privilege – to eat well, rest well and explore the woods nearby. This time I returned once again to Łęgucki Młyn with the brands @blundstonepl and @defender which combined forces and treated us to two days of games, yoga, off-roading and delicious food. Is AI gonna replace creativity? Make sure it doesn’t Im starting a new series where I talk about my opinions on technology as someone who studied computer science and AI but has a background in art, film, and painting. The development of AI has happened so fast in the past few years that it seems pretty terrifying to think about. It seems like half the world loves it and the other half hates it. And there are so many nuances to how it can and should be used in our lives & careers. I believe the reality will lie somewhere in the middle, which happens to be where I usually operate as a startup founder & creative person. AI doesn’t have a place in artmaking. In emotional, unpredictable outputs, you should remain in the center and in control. The way most technical people use & accept AI is in everything that is already digital (ex: bookkeeping, coding, data analysis), and there are some ways to apply that to creative & self-made careers. Especially for people that are self employed who may not have the resources that large companies have, like tracking income, AI can help democratize that. But that’s kind of where it starts and ends. I want to keep this an open space to ask questions and hear your thoughts, so we can further break this down together! Worn in June 30th, 1891. The label read “Marcel Proust frequented Madame Bénardaky’s (1855-1913) salon in her mansion on the Rue de Chaillot [in Paris]. Her daughter Marie was a childhood friend of the writer.” I had the pleasure of seeing this beauty—along with dozens of other Worth treasures—in Paris last summer in the exhibition Worth: Inventing Haute Couture.

A love letter to Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🍂🌧️🤎   > What’s your favorite city to visit?   I’ve been saying that Edinburgh is my favorite city without even actually visiting it for YEARS. And the dream happened. And let me tell you that the city is A DREAM. Here is my guide (slide by slide): 1. Waterstones coffee shop with gorgeous view of the Castle (the coffee is yummy). 2. My favorite bookstore was The Gently Mad Bookshop. 3. I stayed at @righproperties (*invitation). The room was huge, gorgeous, the view!!, and you have pastries in the morning. I highly recommend it! 4. One Day spot: the Vennel viewpoint (go way sunset, the light is so pretty). 5. Scott Monument is stunning and dark academia. You see it best from the park. 6. Solo date breakfast at Princes Street Garden. 7. Fav bookstores I’ve visited: Armchair books, Topping & Company, Tills bookshop and The Gently Mad Bookshop. Also not featured: Waterstones, Blackwell’s. 8. Fav view of the castle: The Parish Church of St Cuthbert. 9. Gorgeous view of the architecture on the Waverley Bridge 10. My autumn uniform. 11. Places to see: Circus Lane, Calton Hill, Dean Village, Princes Street Garden. Other places: Victoria Street (but busy), Cockburn Street. 12. New College 13. Visit the museums (they are free). The Portrait Gallery, the National Gallery (with an Achilles and Patroclus painting), the Writers’ museum. 14. Rainy days = happy days. 15. Lunch tips: I mostly ate in coffee shop, they have vegetarian options and it’s okay prices. 16. Coffee places: the Milkman, Cappucino, Roasters, Kul Coffee, Cairngorm Coffee, Books N Cup. 17. Ross Fountain 18. To see Highland Cows go to the Swanston Farm (and hike a bit). 19. Edinburgh, I miss you already! Other things: — it’s perfect for long weekends and solo trips. — the activities are basically walking 20K steps, seeing pretty gothic architecture, drinking coffee and going to bookshops. — in mid September, it’s still very green but quite cold. — the wind is HARSH, be ready for your hair and bring a scarf. — bring a solid umbrella or rain jacket and waterproof shoes.
